Gay-for-pay performer and studio owner Robert Kovarik, aka Robert Van Damme, could face extradition to his native Czech Republic depending upon the outcome of a June 7 hearing.

Forty year old Kovarik was arrested May 21 on domestic violence and contempt-of-court charges. Initially jailed under a $100,000 bond, he remains behind bars in Orange County, Calif.’s James A. Musick Facility on a detainment order issued by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The married body builder, Robert Koverik, took the porn name Robert Van Damme in 2003 where he became a "popular gay for pay power top."

In February 2009 Van Damme founded his own studio, RVD Films LLC, which streeted its first gay porn title, Robert Van Damme’s Private Party, in March of the same year. The studio reportedly is managed by his wife.

The Orange County booking sheet lists Kovarik’s occupation as “escort.”
