The SEC Porn-Viewing story is largely a story designed to cripple the SEC from going after Goldman Sachs. The degree the story was promoted by the elite media doesn't show how corrupt the SEC is but how corrupt the elite media is.
"Oh my, they were looking at porn." How many people spend free work time playing on Facebook and Twitter and yeah, probably also porn? If a worker is not doing their job it is because they are not being assigned a proper work load and are not under proper supervision. Whose fault is that?
What the lawyer was quoted as saying in one article:
“What these individuals did is the equivalent of falsely billing a client (in this case taxpayers like you and me),” Evans told The Washington Post in an e-mail. “If one does this in private practice one has disciplinary action taken against one, and if the fraud is large enough there is the potential for additional action. Lawyers should not be excused simply because they work for the government.”

If a client hires a lawyer but does not give the lawyer any work and then is upset because the lawyer has't done any work that was never assigned whose fault is that? And exactly who is the lawyer suing? Well, yeah, basically the same taxpayers he is pretending to care about. How many billable lawyer hours is this lawyer planning on costing taxpayers with his bogus, self-righteous lawsuit.

The names of Federal Employees do not need to be released to vigilante crackpots. That this weird story was even released shortly after the announcement of the SEC going after Goldman Sachs raises questions given exactly how many Manchurians Goldman Sachs has in our government and media.
If a worker is doing their job and finishing their work assignments it should be non of employer's business what they do during time they might be spending in a break-room, a rest-room, talking at the watercooler or whatever. If an employee is not doing their job, that in itself should be reason to discipline or fire the employee and without nosing into the employee's online time.
