Google said Tuesday it might end its operations in China after it discovered that the e-mail accounts of human rights activists had been breached. Google investigation revealed that "a primary goal of the attackers was accessing the Gmail accounts of Chinese human rights activists," a Google blog post said.

Is China's behavior much worse than the behavior of local governments across America, being directed in part from DC, such as in the many Craiglist arrest? Also American police have infiltrated some social networks to breakup some youth meetups at bars and to harass bar owners. Government is going bankrupt and yet they continue to throw money away on that kind of mindless bullshit.

ISP's were forced to stop carrying usenet newsgroups which was the ultimate in free speech just because some people may have abused that RIGHT to free speech.
